| A capacity plus crowd of over 100 brothers attended the
alumni dinner held at Monty's in the Grove on Wednesday, June 28, 2000.
Legendary sports personality Hank Goldberg, talk show host on WQAM and
commentator for ABC and ESPN was the guest speaker. After enjoying himself
at the cocktail hour, then experiencing a Pilam dinner, Hank realized that
this was not a normal set of guys. In fact, he began his talk by flat out
stating that "you guys are a pretty strange group." He then
quickly rattled off about dozen things he had learned or witnessed
about us that gave him such an impression. Since this is a family
site, we will not list his reasons here. Suffice it to say that Mr.
Goldberg seemed to be an almost perfect fit for his audience.
