15FRATROW.COM IS ONE MONTH OLD!

1999

It has been one month since we announced 15FratRow.com and the response has been great. We had a total of 1,519 individual user sessions and over 8,000 hits. What all that means, I am not sure, but it certainly sounds good.

The e-mail list has over 200 names on it, and we have about 100 names on the occupation/business field list and the pledge class list. While this is a good start, we still have several hundred more brothers to track down. Pass the site address around so that we can get everyone signed up and listed. If you  are on the e-mail list, but not on the other lists, click here to get all of your information listed.

We appreciate all of the comments and great ideas you guys have forwarded to us. The ideas have been pretty varied, not to mention strange, ranging from a live chat session with Steve Spurrier, to an expose on the life and times of Barry Schinder (pc '84). There is, however, one common word that was included in most of your ideas. That being "naked", as in "naked little sisters", "naked college girls", or "naked women". With that in mind, we have begun discussions with several of our little sister alumni. This could be a new section here at 15FratRow. We will keep you  informed of any progress on these fronts.

Anticipating such requests, we did feature one such little sister here. If you took the time to search out all of the fascinating pieces of information and pictures on this site, you would have discovered a Pilam little sister who made her way to the centerfold of Playboy Magazine. Check out the Pilam trivia section.

The distance award goes to two brothers, who now reside in Israel. We heard from both of them within 24 hours of our announcement about the site. A tribute to the speed of communication on the internet. Tuvia Bass (e-mail Tuvia), also known as Todd, pc '77, has made aliyah to Israel and has graciously volunteered "to be the guys connection to the holy land." Not to be out done, pc '87, immediately checked in with Chris Chabot (e-mail Chris), who plays professional basketball in the holy land.

Many of you have requested that we spotlight different brothers and fill everyone in on what they have been doing. With that in mind, we are debuting our new Profile section with an interview with  Bob Merlin. Over time, we will profile everyone on the list.

We finished completing the Flashback section for 1984-1985 and posted 1979-1980. Next up is 1973-1974, which should be done within a few weeks. We are in desperate need of pictures and stories from pre-1972 and post-1987, if anyone has anything please contact me.

Also, we want to welcome Gary Brooks (pc '58) editor of the  famous "Bulletin" which has found its way onto our pages via Stan Newmark. Gary has been writing the "Bulletin" for decades(?), and his clever writing fits right in with 15FratRow's very own Flounder and Tony Storch. Any other aspiring writers should contact us for a chance to be featured here.

Finally, if you run into anyone, send us pictures, we will post them. Also, send news if any of us make the papers.

As always, contact me or Kop (email Kop) with any comments or suggestions.

BMF,
